What is the value of that 1914 money today? The Society in a 2010 video, writing about 1877 and $300,000, states:
„When he was 11, he became his father's partner. Together they managed a chain of clothing stores. Charles expanded the business and ran several stores himself. By the age of 25, he was over $ 300,000, which would be the equivalent of $ 7 million today” (Jehovah’s Witnesses—Faith in Action, Part 1: Out of Darkness [my translation of the text from Polish]).
